Submission Policy

Software Submission policies, procedures and other great legal stuff!

Two Brothers Software manually checks all entries for compiance to this agreement. Please be patient awaiting approval of software submitted. There is no reason to resubmit software.

Please also be aware, that your software MUST maintain complaince with this agreement and the agreement of PAD UPDATES.

Please understand that you are under the legal requirements of submission as listed below, by pressing the submit button, you are agreeing that you have read this agreement, and are abiding by it.

1. All submissions are at the discretion of Two Brothers Software. Two Brothers Software is under no obligation to list any submission, or to reply to any submission request. Software that potentialy could be listed in the following categories will be denied:

Email lists
Decompilers
SPAM creators, or SMTP servers
Offensive images, or offensive images anywhere on the software's host website
Torrent files or P2P files
Politically motivated or slanderous software
Gambling Software
Any software that could potentially be used for illicit purposes
Screen Savers

2. All decisions to list or not to list are purely at the discretion of Two Brothers Software. Software may be omitted for any reason, or no reason at all. Lost submissions will not be considered.

3. All submissions are to only be submitted by the author or the author’s legal designated party only. Any false submissions or submissions treated as piracy and dealt with!.

4. If a submission is deemed to be not legal or infringing on current or future rules, Two Brothers Software will remove it from the listings immediately.

5. All Software must be free of Virus, Trojans and all malware. No software may knowingly interfere with security software designed to detect malware.

6. No software listed on Two Brothers Software may collect data about a user, or a users computer use habits, web surfing habits. Even if the software informs the user that this is occuring, these software types will not be tolerated.

7. If the programs functionality requires information regarding the user to be sent across the Internet, this must be disclosed when submitting the project. 8. No submissions may contain any pornography, or possibly objectionable art work. This is at the absolute discretion of Two Brothers Software.

9. By submitting a project, you agree to hold Two Brothers Software free of liability relating to your submission.

10. By submitting a project, you agree to this agreement in it’s entirety.

11. If any company submits more than two projects in a 30-day period, no submissions from that company will be considered for at least 6 months. 12. If your submission is decpetive in any way you will be permanently banned from submitting software.

EXAMPLES OF DECEPTIVE SUBMISSIONS:
.zip files that point to flash pages.
Redirects at the server side to redirect the download file to another page.
Software that collects personal information.
Software or web pages that contains viruses or harmfull scripts.
Web pages that require Active-X components to be installed to view correctly.
Software that can be used to propogate piracy.
Software that could be used to propogate spam.
Software that could be used to violate Local, National or International Laws.
Anything else that we may construe as deceptive.

13. This agreement may change in the future, and all submissions will be required to comply with the current and future agreements.

Limitation of Liability NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING ELSE HEREIN, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TORT, CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL "TWO BROTHERS SOFTWARE, LLC." OR ITS LICENSORS, OR SUBLICENSORS, BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON (I) FOR ANY PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, ACCURACY OF RESULTS, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY "TWO BROTHERS SOFTWARE, LLC." OR (II) FOR ANY MATTER BEYOND "TWO BROTHERS SOFTWARE, LLC." OR ITS LICENSOR'S REASONABLE CONTROL. "TWO BROTHERS SOFTWARE, LLC."'S AND ITS LICENSOR'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO (I) 50% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE OR SOFTWARE LISTING OR (II) IF YOU RECEIVED THE SOFTWARE OR SOFTWARE LISTING FREE OF CHARGE ON A TRIAL BASIS, ZERO DOLLARS ($0.00), EXCEPT WHERE NOT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN WHICH CASE TWO BROTHERS SOFTWARE'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM AMOUNT PERMITTED BY SUCH APPLICABLE LAW. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY EVEN IF "TWO BROTHERS SOFTWARE, LLC." HAS BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under Wisconsin law.

This site requires PAD file format version 1.1 or later. PADGen version 1.2 or later supports this format.
